Re: QUIK-PAKTM electrodes and CHARGE-PAKTM battery charger
Device model: LIFEPAK CR® Plus defibrillator and LIFEPAK EXPRESS® defibrillator
Dear valued customer,
We appreciate your continued trust in Stryker and your use of our LIFEPAK AED products. We are writing to provide an important update regarding our support for the LIFEPAK CR Plus and LIFEPAK EXPRESS automated external defibrillators (AEDs), which were previously discontinued from sales in countries requiring a CE mark certification as of April 1, 2019 and in the United States effective October 31, 2020.
At the time of discontinuation, Stryker anticipated being able to support these devices for their full limited warranty period which was eight years for the LIFEPAK CR Plus and five years for the LIFEPAK EXPRESS. However, due to ongoing and unforeseen challenges related to component availability and supply chain limitations, we regret to inform you that we will be discontinuing the QUIK-PAK electrodes and CHARGE-PAK battery charger in February 2026. We will continue supporting warranty claims through the warranty time period of 90 days for the QUIK-PAKTM electrodes and CHARGE-PAKTM battery charger.
We recognize the importance of reliable AED support and understand the impact this may have on your readiness plans. Our current AED portfolio with available supply includes the LIFEPAK CR2 and LIFEPAK 1000 which offer advanced features, simplified maintenance and enhanced usability all designed to support high-quality resuscitation and responder confidence.
If you currently have LIFEPAK CR Plus or EXPRESS devices in service, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your local Stryker representative or authorized distributor to discuss available upgrade options.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding, and we remain dedicated to supporting your life-saving efforts with trusted technology and reliable service.
Best Regards,
Lianne Stefurak
